A Personal Note Before We Start

Hi, Marie here. This is the page where I have to be a little more formal than usual, because it’s the page that protects both of us when you read something on this site and decide to try it in your own life. I want to be straight with you about what this site is, what it isn’t, and where my words end and a real expert’s begin.

I write about morning routines for a living. I am not a doctor, dermatologist, therapist, dietitian, certified yoga instructor, financial advisor, or licensed medical professional of any kind. I am a writer who reads research, tries things on her own body, and reports back honestly. That is a useful job, but it is not the same as professional advice from someone who knows your specific situation.

Please read this page once. It explains how to use what you find on MorningRoutine.club without putting yourself at risk.

Site Owner Information

This Disclaimer is published by:

Marie Honeycutt. 581 Franklin Street Opelika, AL 36801 United States Email: hello@morningroutine.club

Throughout this page, “I,” “me,” “we,” “us,” or “the site” refers to me and MorningRoutine.club. “You” or “your” refers to anyone who reads or uses any content on the site.

General Information Disclaimer

Everything published on MorningRoutine.club, including the articles, the newsletter, social media captions linked from the site, downloadable resources, comments, and any other content, is shared for general informational and educational purposes only.

The content reflects my personal experiences, my interpretation of publicly available research, and my opinions as a writer and a regular person trying to start the day a little better. It is not tailored to your individual circumstances, your medical history, your skin type, your fitness level, your living situation, or anything else specific to you.

I make a real effort to keep the content on this site accurate, current, and well-researched. Even so, I cannot guarantee that every fact, statistic, study reference, brand recommendation, or routine description on the site is complete, error-free, or up to date at the moment you read it. Health science evolves, products change formulations, brands rebrand, and articles I wrote in 2022 may not perfectly reflect what I believe in 2026. When I notice something out of date, I update it, but I cannot promise to catch every change in real time.

You should not act on any information from this site as if it were a personalized recommendation. Use the content as a starting point for your own research, conversations with qualified professionals, and personal experimentation. The final decision about what to try, what to skip, and what is right for you is always yours.

Health and Medical Disclaimer

This is the section I want you to take most seriously, because morning routines often touch on health, sleep, skin, mental wellbeing, and movement, and getting health advice wrong on the internet can genuinely hurt people.

Nothing on MorningRoutine.club is intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I am not a licensed medical practitioner. I do not have the training, credentials, or context to evaluate your individual health, and I would never pretend to.

Always seek the advice of your physician, a qualified mental health professional, or another suitably credentialed health provider with any question you may have about a medical condition, a medication, a symptom, a mental or emotional concern, a sleep issue, or any topic that affects your wellbeing. Never disregard professional medical advice, delay seeking it, or stop following a treatment plan because of something you read on this site or heard from me on social media.

If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call your doctor immediately, dial 911 in the United States, or contact your local emergency number wherever you are. Do not wait to email me. Do not wait to research it on the site. Get help.

Specific things to keep in mind:

If you are pregnant, nursing, trying to conceive, or postpartum, please clear any new routine, supplement, exercise, or skincare product with your obstetrician or midwife before trying it. Some ingredients and habits that are safe in general are not safe during pregnancy.

If you have a chronic condition such as diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune disease, hypertension, an eating disorder history, anxiety, depression, or any other ongoing health concern, talk to your doctor before changing your morning habits, your sleep schedule, your diet, or your exercise routine.

If you take prescription medication, please be aware that some “natural” routines, herbs, supplements, or food choices can interact with prescriptions in serious ways. Always check with your pharmacist or doctor.

If you are recovering from injury, surgery, or illness, please get clearance from your treating clinician before starting morning yoga, stretches, workouts, or any new physical activity featured on this site.

Mental Health and Crisis Disclaimer

I sometimes write about topics that touch on mental health, including stress, anxiety, burnout, motivation, sleep struggles, and the emotional side of building habits. I write from personal experience and from research, not from any clinical training.

If you are struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional. A morning routine is not a substitute for therapy, medication, or crisis support.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the United States by calling or texting 988, or visit https://988lifeline.org. If you are outside the United States, please contact your local crisis service. You deserve real, immediate support, and I am not the right person to provide it.

Skincare and Beauty Disclaimer

Morning skincare is one of my most popular topics, and it is also the one where I get the most cautious. Skin is wildly individual. A routine that cleared up my skin completely may give your skin an uncomfortable reaction. A product I love may contain an ingredient your skin hates.

When I write about skincare on this site, I am sharing personal experiences, ingredient breakdowns, and what current peer-reviewed research suggests about how those ingredients work in general. None of that adds up to a personalized skincare prescription for you.

Before adding any new product, ingredient, or routine, please patch test on a small area of your skin for at least 48 hours and watch for redness, itching, burning, or swelling. If you have a known skin condition such as eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, melasma, severe acne, or any other diagnosed concern, please consult a board-certified dermatologist before trying a new routine. If a product causes any adverse reaction, stop using it immediately and contact a doctor or dermatologist.

I am not responsible for any skin reaction, irritation, allergic response, breakout, sensitivity, or other negative outcome that results from following a routine or using a product mentioned on the site.

Fitness, Yoga, and Movement Disclaimer

Morning yoga, stretching, and movement routines are featured throughout this site. I have studied yoga for years as a student, but I am not a certified yoga instructor or licensed personal trainer.

Any movement, stretch, or workout you find on this site is described from the perspective of a non-professional sharing what has worked for her own body. Before trying any physical routine, please confirm with your doctor that you are healthy enough to exercise. Listen to your body. Do not push through sharp pain. Modify any pose or movement that does not feel right for you. Stop immediately if you experience dizziness, chest pain, severe shortness of breath, or any sign that something is wrong.

By following any movement instructions on this site, you accept full responsibility for your own safety and the consequences of your participation.

Nutrition, Drinks, and Supplement Disclaimer

I sometimes write about morning drinks, breakfasts, hydration, and the occasional supplement that I have personally tried. I am not a registered dietitian, nutritionist, or licensed naturopath.

If you have a food allergy, intolerance, dietary restriction, eating disorder history, or any condition affected by food, please consult a qualified dietitian or your doctor before adopting any nutrition habit you read about here. The Food and Drug Administration has not evaluated most claims about wellness drinks, herbs, or supplements, and many of those products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

I do not recommend any supplement, drink, or food for medicinal purposes. If something on this site seems like a quick fix for a serious condition, please assume it is not.

Affiliate and Earnings Disclaimer

MorningRoutine.club participates in affiliate programs, including but not limited to the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When I link to a product I have used and recommend, that link may earn me a small commission if you choose to make a purchase, at absolutely no additional cost to you.

I never recommend a product just because it pays a commission. Many of the brands I write about have no affiliate program at all. The commissions I earn help keep the site running and the newsletter free, but they never determine what I write or how I review something.

I also cannot guarantee any financial, health, or lifestyle outcome from any product, routine, or recommendation. The results I describe are mine. Your results will likely differ. For full transparency, please see the Affiliate Disclosure page.

Testimonials and Results Disclaimer

When I share reader emails, comments, or testimonials, those represent the experiences of one specific person at one specific time. They are not promises of what will happen for you.

When I share a personal result, like sleeping better after a habit change or seeing my skin improve, I am describing what happened in my body, in my climate, in my life. I cannot guarantee the same outcome for anyone else.

A morning routine is one variable in a complicated life. Genetics, sleep, stress, environment, hormones, age, and dozens of other factors all play a role. Please bring realistic expectations and a sense of humor about what one website can change for you.

External Links Disclaimer

The site includes links to external websites, research studies, news articles, brand pages, social media platforms, podcasts, and other resources I have found useful. I do my best to link to reputable sources, but I do not control any external site, and I cannot guarantee the accuracy, currency, safety, or appropriateness of anything you find once you click away from MorningRoutine.club.

The presence of an external link is not an endorsement of the entire website it leads to. Once you leave my site, the privacy policy, terms, and disclaimers of that other site apply, not mine.

No Professional-Client Relationship

Reading articles on this site, signing up for the newsletter, leaving a comment, or sending me an email does not create a professional, doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, financial advisor-client, or any other formal relationship between us. I am a writer, you are a reader, and that is the entire arrangement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marie Honeycutt, MorningRoutine.club, and anyone associated with the site are not liable for any harm, injury, illness, allergic reaction, emotional distress, financial loss, or other negative outcome that results from your use of the site, your reliance on any content, your decision to try any routine, or any interaction you have with products, brands, or third parties mentioned on the site.

If a court finds that I am liable for something despite this section, my total liability will not exceed one hundred United States dollars or the amount you have paid me directly in the past twelve months, whichever is lower.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Your Responsibility

When you use MorningRoutine.club, you take full responsibility for your own choices, your own health, your own skincare, your own movement practice, and your own results. You agree that I am not responsible for any harm, loss, or unwanted outcome that comes from acting on something you read here without first checking with a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Read with curiosity. Try things slowly. When in doubt, ask a real expert.

Changes to This Disclaimer

I may update this Disclaimer from time to time as the site grows, as the law changes, or as I add new categories of content. Significant changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page, and for major updates I may post a brief notice on the homepage.

By continuing to use the site after an update is posted, you accept the revised version. If you do not agree with any change, please stop using the site.
