Welcome, friend

The morning routine that fits your real life, not someone else’s.

I am Marie, and I write about real morning routines for real people. The ones with kids, with school, with 5am alarms, and with snooze buttons. No cold plunges required, unless you genuinely love that kind of thing.

A note from Marie
Marie Honeycutt

Most morning routine advice online is written for someone who already has their life together. Mine is for the rest of us.

I started Morning Routine Club after I realized my own mornings were a quiet disaster. I have spent the last six years testing real habits, asking real people what works, and sharing what actually fits into a normal day with kids, deadlines, and a body that does not love 5am.

You will find routines for early risers, late starters, students, parents, and yes, the famous Ashton Hall and American Psycho ones too. Pick what fits. Skip what does not.

A routine for every kind of morning.

From sunrise yoga to school day chaos, every guide here is built around what people actually do, not the curated version. Tap any card to dig in.

Why mornings matter

A good morning is not a perfect morning.

The internet wants you to believe a great morning routine costs $400 and takes three hours. It does not. The best ones are simple, repeatable, and forgiving on the days everything goes sideways.

    Real over Instagram

Every routine on this site has been lived in, edited, and adjusted. No staged ice baths, no fake productivity. Just what actually works on a Tuesday.

  • 02

    Built for your life

You do not need to wake at 5am to have a great morning. You need a rhythm that matches your job, your body, and your home.

  • 03

    Tiny habits, real results

One small change held for thirty days will change more than a perfect routine you keep for three.

Hi, I'm Marie
Meet your guide

Hi, I’m Marie Honeycutt. I write every word here.

I am a writer, mom of two, and a recovering night owl from the South. I started Morning Routine Club in 2019 after realizing the morning routine articles I kept finding online were either written by people with no kids or people trying to sell me something.

Everything you read on this site comes from my own experience or from real conversations with readers, doctors, yoga teachers, dermatologists, and tired parents who have figured out something that works. I do not publish anything I would not personally try.

If you have a question, an idea, or a routine of your own to share, I would genuinely love to hear it.
